Well, after many years (about 9 or 10 to be exact) of thinking about writing a children's book, I am finally working on this goal. When we moved to Las Vegas I decided to really begin the process of writing. I have attended monthly writer's group meetings, bi-monthly writer's workshops, and even a great writing conference for the past few months. And after all that... finally have put pen to paper on my children's book. I have several ideas but am starting with one that focuses on accepting others with differences and embracing what makes us unique.
I know it will be a long process and who knows if it will ever get published.... but here goes!
Go Hayley! We do need to embrace what makes us different.
